We are looking for a program manager with experience in hardware and infrastructure programs. This will involve server hardware, network, and distribution of applications to desktops of a large user base. An in depth, working knowledge of these systems and processes and experience in management of large programs in these areas is required in order to succeed in this position.
The Service Delivery & Engineering Program Manager (PgM) will be responsible for oversight of all the projects related to their assigned system(s). This will include working directly with the business product owners to identify their pain points related to the system; learn their vision for the system; and assure that the appropriate level of requirements are provided for each project request. The PgM will also be responsible for creating the project roadmap for their assigned systems as well as coordinate the prioritization process that goes along with it. The PgM will manage projects as well as coordinate with other project managers assigned to program projects.
The PgM will become a subject matter expert for the systems they are responsible for. This requires understanding of how the system is used by the business, what its features are, and which features are crucial to the various user teams.

Job Requirements

  • Five years of program/project management experience.
  • Experience with and a working knowledge of server and network infrastructure, hardware installation, and distribution of applications to desktops of a large user base.
  • Experience managing large projects.
  • Experience in agile methods
  • Strong project management full life cycle experience in large scale projects.  Working with large and diverse teams in multiple locations.
  • Facilitate dialogue with the various department stakeholders to understand and document their project requests.
  • Manage projects to successful On Time/On Budget/On Quality delivery
  • Proactively identify and report on risks, issues and dependencies for the project
  • Ability to communicate verbally and in writing clearly and succinctly, complex design and technical issues, as well as business and product requirements 
  • Strong presentation and documentation skills, proficient in PowerPoint, Word and Excel.
  • Able to manage financial and procurement duties as part of program management.
  • Ability to work effectively in a dynamic environment with matrix reporting structure.
  • Project management experience in one or more of the following areas is highly desirable:
    • Large system implementations
    • Customer service call center systems
    • Information Security/Network Security
    • Hardware refresh
    • System integration
    • Disaster recovery testing
    • PCI Compliance
    • Telecom
    • Networking
    • Firewalls
  • Demonstrated:
    • Ability to summarize and present complex issues to a variety of audiences: technical, non-technical and executive personnel
    • Flexibility and adaptability to fit the needs of the project, making progress despite ambiguity
    • Ability to work within existing processes, but able to understand and define where new, different or abridged processes should be used
    • Ability to prioritize and re-prioritize as events warrant
    • Ability to work across group boundaries and forge cross-functional relationships
