The EMEA TA team lies at the heart of our business and employs 11 team members in 5 locations . The team covers hiring in a range of areas for all our business units and supporting functions throughout Europe, the Middle East and Africa. Our recruiters are excellent and experienced professionals, providing TA support to hiring managers and senior leaders. We are looking to recruit a Talent Acquisition Manager to be at the heart of our success, ensuring that the highest caliber people are hired and embedded into the PayPal team.

The successful person will:

  • Lead the team to deliver all aspects of recruitment activity, focusing on delivering customer-centric, efficient and high-quality execution of the core sourcing and candidate management process for all hires.
  • Manage, develop and coach direct reports to ensure they are equipped with the right skills, competencies, tools, and processes to deliver a world class Talent Acquisition service.
  • Manage capacity and work distribution of direct reports for optimum effectiveness and resource management.
  • Ensure all recruiting activity within your span of control is consistent and compliant with Global/Regional PayPal policies as appropriate and the team meets all agreed key performance indicators, service level agreements applicable to their role.
  • Act as an escalation point for COE and Vendor related Talent Acquisition enquiries escalated from direct reports and Talent Acquisition Partners/Managers and assist with resolution
  • Indirectly manage and leverage the larger network of resources within the Global Talent Acquisition organization in relation to; process & policy development, improvement and standardization, systems capability and performance, reporting accuracy and capability.
  • Demonstrate deep business and commercial insight and the ability to translate into a future oriented outlook on talent acquisition thinking and planning.
  • Partner with line managers applying the judgment required to bring the best people on board as quickly as possible. This will include feedback on obstacles to recruitment, factors preventing candidate flow, market and competitive intelligence
  • Develop a recruitment strategy whilst adopting a hands-on role in the end to end recruitment cycle.

About You :

  • With a clear, succinct and influencing communication style, you will have experience working as an in-house Talent Acquisition Manager and delivering recruitment across multiple disciplines in a dynamic and high growth environment
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in enterprise/operational/ internal controls roles within large, global, multi-lingual and high growth organizations.
  •   6+ years’ management experience.
  • Demonstrated track record of successfully building and leading teams across multiple geographies, with recruiting experience that ranges from entry to senior level hires.
  • Deep Talent Acquisition best practice expertise, broad organizational knowledge, labor market trends and legislative regulations.
  • It’s key that you share the energy and commitment that drives the business with a clear understanding of our product’s values and proposition.
  •  We’re after someone who can think commercially at a strategic level, but not at the expense of getting involved in the day to day job.
  • Flexibility to operate effectively in a global construct and to travel occasionally.
  • An ability to quickly adapt to rapidly changing environments while serving as a steady point of continuity for their team.
  • Agility in leading and navigating the global regulatory environment.
  • Excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills, in order to gain trust, achieve business objectives and work directly with a broad group of managers throughout the company. 
  • Excellent relationship management skills in a challenging fast paced environment.
  • Strong problem-solving, conflict resolution, influencing and decision-making skills and high attention to detail
  • BA/BS or equivalent work experience required. Master's Degree preferred.
