A typical day for the EMEA Sales Operations Analyst Intern will include:
A great opportunity for an outstanding individual to join the global online payments company PayPal in a dynamic and fast-paced growth environment. The Sales Ops team supports over 300 sales colleagues in over ten markets across Europe.

This is a great position if you’re excited by a fluid, fast paced environment and you like the thought of no two days ever being the same. Our culture is an ever changing workload supporting all the behind the scenes processes and policies that enable our sales teams to successfully sell PayPal solutions to millions of merchants – everyone from John Lewis to a local pop up shop.

Reporting to the Senior Sales Operations Manager for EMEA, the candidate must bring strong organisation and communication skills. Being able to articulate complex problems or processes in a simple way so that everyone understands them is particularly important. This role has the opportunity to deliver projects with significant impact across EMEA and globally across PayPal so we are looking for someone with resourcefulness, great communication skills and the ability to learn how to run complex projects. Solutions are not always evident and so we are looking for someone who is comfortable with recognizing ambiguity and how to find answers.

What does Success Look Like?

  • Programme manage EMEA communication, training and project initiatives so that we have a clear pipeline with plans in place to deliver sustainable progress
  • Manage and organize our process documentation so it is easy to view our sub processes and well and the high level end to end processes
  • Communication of new processes and procedures to life so that sales teams are up to date with what to do
  • Administration of our learning portal so that our users have access to the latest and best resources

  • Create ad hoc training and communications content by hosting events with specialist speakers, making videos or building learning content.

About You:

  • Resourcefulness and determination
  • Excellent communication and relationship building skills along with the ability to communicate well and succinctly.  
  • Proficient at the usual Office systems such as Excel, Word and Powerpoint. Willing to learn other systems such as Camtasia
  • Ability to deal with ambiguity and find a way of filling in the blanks.
  • Comfortable in a fast paced environment and manage multiple projects and tasks simultaneously.
  • Interested in learning how to build a sales organization that is constantly evolving.
  • Ability to translate complex concepts

You Might Also Have:

  • Experience within a fast paced, ever changing environment would be useful
  • Experience of presenting, hosting events and producing videos would be desirable.
  • Have a degree with expected grade at least a 2:1
  • Be available for a 12 months internship starting June – July 2018
