Director of Organizational Adoption

The Technology Platforms & Experience (TPX) organization is looking for a collaborative and strategically oriented senior leader with experience in transformation, business readiness, organizational change, communications and people-based functions. The Director of Organizational Adoption will report directly to the Sr. Director of the Business Technology Office (BTO) and be responsible providing the tools, frameworks and training required to adopt change across TPX and broadening across the PayPal Inc. ecosystem. This new role will lead a team of experts in technical and employee communications, organizational change management, intranet and SharePoint strategy, branding, diversity and inclusion, and people operations. Stakeholders and enterprise partners include Technology Leaders, Corporate Communications, Human Resources, and Employee Engagement within TPX and across the PayPal Inc. ecosystem.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Be a strategic partner to Technology leaders across PayPal to identify business problems and lead a team to facilitate solutions that support delightful employee experiences.
  • Partner with Technology leaders of acquired companies to support the integration activities related to collaboration technologies.
  • Coordinate and manage teams across user experience research, product & collaboration consultancy, and collaboration behavior analysis.
  • Identify business problem statements specific to each organization, and the ability to lead a group of technical and non-technical employees to problem solve with the tools and expertise available.
  • Partner closely with PayPal Inc. and TPX leaders on communications, change management, and people functions.
  • Own all the communication-based functions for the TPX organization, including All Hands meetings, intranet content, CTO communications, employee technical communications, and organizational change management.
  • Drive organizational awareness of culture, policy, organizational updates, decisions, etc.; ensure high employee engagement through following implemented policies and procedures. Be a thoughtful steward of the cultural values we strive for as a company (collaboration, innovation, inclusion, wellness).
  • Connect feedback from engagement surveys and data insights reports to actionable outcomes that drive improvements in employee satisfaction, manager effectiveness, and improve the culture of the TPX organization.
  • Be a trusted advisor to the TPX leadership team and TPX domains:  Provide counsel and serve as a sounding board for all things related to employee engagement, helping organizations navigate and implement change, identifying opportunities to improve inclusion and belonging.
  • Be a champion for organizational development and culture by building a transparent and inclusive culture, and a capacity for listening to and learning from employees. Ensure cultural changes are embedded across all levels and in alignment with overall business strategy and outcomes.


The ideal candidate will have 12+ years of experience and has proven experience working closely with leaders in a fast-paced environment; applying strong consultative skills, including business acumen, customer empathy, and the ability to influence and partner. This person thrives in a dynamic, global, fluid, matrix environment and is results-focused. Is comfortable leading from both the front and the rear, as situations dictate. History working in communications, employee experience, or people operations preferred.
