Roles & Responsibility:

•         Ability to lead complex discussions and engagements that may involve multiple project teams within PayPal and partner firms. 

•         Work with technical product leads to design and deliver solutions for our customers (merchants & consumers).

•         Provide strategic guidance and direction to development teams. 

•         Manage stakeholder planning and communications for key initiatives.

•         Be a technical subject matter expert and represent the full internal and external capabilities of the platform. 

•         Identify market gaps, client requirements or issues and collaborate with product , user experience and technology teams to define detailed plan and execute it with agility

•         Ensure engineering team implements optimal integration strategies, techniques and user experience best practices along with great documentation or developer community

•         Capture and communicate experiences in formal post-mortem, sharing lessons learned, best practices and resources back into the engineering team. 

•         Hire and develop a high performing & accountable culture and team. Engage developers to listen into different forums to understand client behaviours & needs and provide innovative solutions.

Required Skills:

•         15+ years’ experience building large scalable technology products & platforms 

•         Extensive experience in product, user experience, architecture, design and implementation of innovative, engaging, top quality, insight driven solutions for customers in collaboration with different teams within the organisation.

•         Expertise in designing for reliability, availability, scalability and performance in highly regulated Financial Services industry preferred. 

•        Ability to go to market fast, manage dependencies & risks, create agile processes and make intelligent tradeoff decisions should be proven capabilities

•         Financial reconciliation and reporting

•         Experience managing large teams in both matrix and direct report structures. Experience in leading cross functional teams will be preferred.
