The Director of Information Reporting is a subject matter expert that will lead global corporate compliance functions (CRS, FATCA, 1099, 1042) to ensure compliant data collection, reporting processes, and filings with each jurisdiction.

The Director will implement information reporting system enhancements and process improvements that provide holistic solutions for data collection, tax documentation, information reporting and withholding taxes.

The successful candidate will be able to research and identify various information reporting issues and clearly articulate findings to management through written communications or verbal presentations. The Director will uphold and continue to develop strong cross functional partnerships with internal stakeholders, external tax advisors and tax authorities.

The Director will lead a team of information reporting specialists comprised of a Sr. Manager, analyst and project management personnel.  In addition, the role will require the coordination and oversight of Information Reporting specialists in the Customer support function. The Director will also lead information reporting working groups of various stakeholders from across the company.  The team will be responsible for the following activities:

  • Provide advice on operational impacts and implementation of global tax information legislation and requirements.
  • Monitor and determine the effectiveness of relevant systems and procedures through proactive assurance monitoring.
  • Provide support to product development, business and operational units to ensure compliance with existing information reporting requirements as well as new laws and regulations.
  • Provide recommendations as appropriate for upgrades, modifications, development of new systems and integrate new business units created internally or acquired.
  • Propose, design and develop systems, standards, and operational procedures.
  • Coordinate the filing of information reporting returns and determine their completeness.
  • Provide advice and direction to internal personnel with responses to Internal Revenue Service (“IRS”) notices, assessments, and requests for information.
  • Manage IRS and other state and foreign jurisdictions information reporting audits.


Minimum ten years of information reporting experience within a corporate and/or consulting environment.

Minimum of a bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance or equivalent experience.  JD degree preferred.

Strong project and people management skills.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Ability to communicate well with various levels of management at the senior and executive levels.

Experience working with the IRS and other regulatory officials.
