Reporting to the Sr. Director, HR Business Partner aligned to the Technology Platforms & Experiences (TPX) and Global Design, Delivery & Operations (GDDO) organizations, the Director, HR Business Partner will partner closely with the leaders of several business units within TPX to drive business outcomes through the development of and execution against HR and business priorities. She/he will leverage and integrate all of the pertinent expertise and capabilities of the PayPal Human Resources function including Total Rewards, Talent Acquisition, Talent and Learning, Diversity & Inclusion and Employee Central to achieve business results.

The successful candidate will partner with the business leaders to develop business objectives and interpret what People enablers are necessary to deliver business results. Further, the role is accountable for leading programs through to implementation across the full TPX organization, considering the unique needs of our internal customers. Based in Austin or Scottsdale, both key sites for PayPal, this HR Partner will serve an important site leadership role. This means representing and supporting the HR org for specific launches, programs and employee relations needs.

Required Skills

  • 10+ years of HR or relevant business experience in roles of progressively increasing scope
  • Experience in a high profile, strategic HR role with heavy executive-level interface and a high degree of executive influence
  • Significant depth in Employee Relations, Learning/OD and Program Management is desired
  • A Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources Management, Business Administration, or equivalent experience is required with a preference for an advanced degree in Human Resources or Business Administration
