The Director, Product Go-To-Market, Business Solutions will be responsible for designing and orchestrating the global go-to-market plans for PayPal’s digital payments & commerce solutions targeted at Small and Medium-sized Businesses (SMBs). This person will be a key leader in PayPal’s global Business Solutions Go-To-Market team. Leveraging a thorough understanding of PayPal’s digital payments and commerce product capabilities and future roadmap, this individual will work closely with the Product and Product Marketing teams to ensure successful launches of new solutions and capabilities that strengthen and expand PayPal’s value proposition for the Business segment and sub-segments.

•         Develop end-to-end Go-To-Market strategy and launch plans for new SMB solutions and capabilities (build and buy) 

•         Work with Business Segment Go-To-Market leads, Global & Local Marketing and Sales teams to incorporate SMB solutions and capabilities in PayPal’s marketing and sales strategy.

•        Drive the delivery of Go-To-Market initiatives and track performance across customer sub-segments, markets and channels.

•         Partner with Product and Product Marketing teams to ensure that SMB solutions meet Business customer needs, by influencing product vision, strategy and roadmap

•         Define product value proposition, unique selling points, pricing, positioning and messaging hierarchy

•         Identify target audiences within Business sub-segments and incorporate new solutions and capabilities into sub-segment value propositions

•        Define and track penetration, customer experience and customer satisfaction metrics for SMB solutions

•        Build and maintain deep expertise and understanding of the SMB digital commerce competitive landscape 

•        Act as the voice of PayPal’s SMB customers 


•        Experience at the forefront of digital commerce and/or payments innovation with a passion for serving SMBs in an innovative and global environment.

•        Demonstrated ability to lead and influence large cross-functional teams to deliver tangible results

•        Experience leading complex strategic and operational initiatives, working through technical, operational, legal/policy and business issues

•        Experience in business case development, market and opportunity sizing and preparing strategic recommendations for senior executives

•        Combination of strategic thinking, people leadership and hands on execution

•        Experience with Product Development and/or Product Management processes gained from working in this field or partnering closely with these functions in a tech/digital company

•        Strong quantitative analytical skills, able to manage through data and insights to build compelling and innovative strategies

•        Very strong customer focus, naturally including customer perspective in plans, decisions and actions

•        Experience working on complex strategic and operational initiatives, working through technical, operational, legal/policy and business issues

•        Excellent written and oral communication skills

•        MBA a plus and/or equivalent experience in the fin-tech or payments space
