The Team – Global Marketing Operations Transformation & Enablement:

Historically, all Regions (NA, EMEA, APAC) have run separate Marketing functions and have had different operational set ups. As part of the Global Marketing transformation program, all regional teams have been consolidated in to one and the new Global Marketing Operations Transformation & Enablement team has been established. The Global Marketing Ops Transformation & Enablement team are tasked with designing and driving this bold new operating model, establishing a blueprint for the future where people, process and technology come together as one. Creating new ways of working that elevate our ability to deliver our marketing plans and innovate continuously. The team are very well regarded, highly skilled and innovative with over 220 full time and agency support staff building our organization structure, process and technology for change. For you to succeed on this team it is important for you to be comfortable working with a high degree of autonomy, to continuously learn and have a curious mindset, to understand and help drive a DevOps Culture, to be proactive, collaborative and to have a sense of humour (optional). 

Location: New York, London, San Jose

Travel: Main destinations will include San Jose (Global HQ) & Global Hubs: New York, London, Singapore.

  • Digital Process management and flow of work, Azure DevOps, Kanban

What will your week look like?

You are keeping the process lean and participating in fire fighting when process failures happen. You are careful and smart in balancing the entropy of business against lean principles to ensure our processes do not get heavy without additional value.  You are creating and optimizing dashboards and Kanban boards for various teams while keeping the taxonomy and Ubiquitous language cohesive. 

Skills to be used: Lean, Kanban, Azure DevOps. 

What will your quarter look like?

You are automating more and more steps in Marketing while configuring Azure DevOps process and projects. You are doing quarterly chaos monkey type exercises to ensure the process ecosystem can deal with failures and we can improve. You are using the levers of extensions being developed by technical enablement pods to make the process more efficient. 

Skills to be used: Innovation mindset and Digital Process Engineering.

What will your year look like?

You are reviewing process documentation and filling the gaps to keep just enough documentation alive. You are archiving concepts which have been superseded or are immersed in the organization by now. You are bringing up new core concepts to the attention of stakeholders with the use of story telling and demos. You are running simulation weeks to redefine the strategic direction of marketing processes and create a runway of tests in the coming quarters. 

Skills to be used: Documentation techniques in Agile environments. 

Education & Experience required:

  • Innovation and Entrepreneurship related Degree with certifications in Lean and Agility. 
  • Multiple year Innovation improvements and large scale Digital Process Engineering experience. 
  • Diverse background outside of Marketing welcomed. 
  • Experience working in agile team environments.
