A typical day for the DevOps Engineer will include:
The Counter Fraud Technology team is looking for an experienced DevOps Engineer. The team is a small multi-disciplinary R&D team that holds a wide arrange of responsibilities - from developing and maintaining a cutting edge system for combating fraud, to conducting technological research on tools and methods used by fraudsters. The team is looking for a DevOps engineer that can take the system and the team to the next level.

What does Success Look Like?  

As a DevOps Engineer, you will focus on:

  • Owning and executing the release process across all environments, responsible for the change control of the team.
  • Designing, developing and owning CI and CD processes and platform owned by the team.
  • Automating key processes within the team’s responsibilities.
  • Supporting the system’s engineer, the team and QA partners. Including designing, integrating and setting up execution environments.
  • Track usage and troubleshoot day-to-day issues such as performance problems and general monitoring functionalities.
  • Participate in the evaluation and deployment of new emerging technologies.

About You

  • B.Sc. in Computer Science, or an equivalent technical training and professional work experience.
  • 4+ years of administrative proficiency on Linux systems.
  • Experience with large-scale production systems.
  • Understanding of the TCP/IP protocol and experience with network monitoring tools.
  • Proficiency in at least one major scripting language, preferably Python.
  • Working knowledge with Docker, HTTP servers, DNS and in-memory databases.
  • Passionate self-learner and technology adopter, eager to use and apply.
  • Ability to clearly communicate and document (verbally and written).


  • Experience with NGINX, HAProxy and Apache HTTP Server.
  • Hands-on experience with cloud based services.
  • Familiarity with InfoSec and Cyber Crime.
  • Interested in Data Science, Machine Learning.
