We are looking for talented dynamic System Engineer, to help us strengthen our world class data operations team. In this versatile role, you will be responsible for helping shape the future of mission critical data store systems. You will be collaborating closely with engineering teams to design and build data layers for our highly complex environments.

We offer a secure, fast and inexpensive means of sending money, paying bills and topping up prepaid services across multiple digital platforms to both online and offline recipients.


Design polyglot data layer architectures
Automate deployment/configuration of data layer with Chef/Puppet/Ansible

Troubleshoot Linux environments
Troubleshoot RDBMS and NoSQL engines
Write technical documentation related to daily tasks​


Strong background in Linux/Unix Administration

Experience as Systems Administrator or Engineer in a scalable production environment

Experience with automation/configuration management using either Puppet, Chef or equivalent

Experience using Python, Ruby and Bash to build smart and efficient automation. Proficient working with Data Center and Amazon Web Services (AWS) in a highly available and scalable production environment

Worked in 24×7 production operations

Facility Jenkins continuous integration, Build, Release and Deployment, Git, Rundeck 

Design systems for monitoring and reporting, based on our unique product needs (e.g. Nagios, Graphite, Cacti, NewRelic, Splunk etc)

Knowledge of best practices and IT operations in an always-up, always-available service

Experience with NOSQL (Redis, Rabbitmq) and MySQL is a plus

Bachelor degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or related
