This role is in the Global Resolutions and Protections (RnP) team within Global Fraud Risk organization and will focus on implementing policies and strategies for new partnerships and integrations

Job Description
This role is in the Global Resolutions and Protections (RnP) team within Global Fraud Risk organization. Global RnP team is responsible for managing the overall policies, strategy and processes for PayPal’s post-transaction domain.

Post transaction domain involves managing the end-to-end policies, customer experience, risk management and operations optimization responsibilities when a customer files a dispute on a PayPal payment.

This role will focus on implementing policies and strategies for new partnerships and integrations.

Job Requirements

Experience:

•        Proficiency in SQL and Excel

•        Experience in fraud, risk management, or business analytics

•        Strong analytical skills: ability to build quick estimates using back-of-the-envelope analysis, structure (and, if needed, execute) more complex analyses, pull together business cases, navigate multidimensional sets of tradeoffs. Above all, the job calls for comfort with data – ability to manipulate it, question its validity, interpret it, and develop recommendations based on it

•        Experience, comfort and interest in the manipulation and analysis of large datasets

•        Knowledge of data and visualization tools SAS, Teradata, Python, QlikView, Tableau

•        Experience, comfort and interest in the manipulation and analysis of large datasets

•        Solid communication and presentation skills and experience visualizing data is required.

•        Strong desire and ability to work in a dynamic, innovative, fast-paced environment.

Professional Qualities:

•        High-energy and drive

•        Ability to story-tell and translate analysis and insights into actionable recommendations

•        Strong quantitative background

•        Outstanding problem-solving skills, with strong ability to drive towards action and impact

•        Ability to operate through ambiguity and change and to be able to course correct

•        Strong written and verbal communications skills

•        Innate curiosity to learn and develop

Basic Qualifications:

•        Bachelors, MBA/ Masters of Finance, Mathematics, statistics, computer science or economics preferred; Masters Degree preferred

•        3+ years of experience in solving problems using data-driven approach or Master’s degree   and 2+ year
