We’re looking to grow our elite technology team of collaborative and talented engineers. The right candidate will be involved in utilizing big data architecture that includes using leading-edge innovation for fueling rapid business growth. You will help us run a crucial and innovative business function in a cloud-based data architecture, with bleeding-edge data trends and technologies in the AWS cloud.


  • Be part of an empowered team following agile methodologies.
  • Assist in building a world class scalable cloud based data management architecture
  • Integrate big data management technologies, cloud based external data sources, and API’s to discover interesting data trends
  • Design and create new data pipelines and processing frameworks with various data sources and formats
  • Utilize open-source software and functional languages to perform data munging and coalescing
  • Partner with software development team members to architect scalable solutions with streaming data, restful API’s, and batch processes
  • Advance the business, by working with stakeholders to drive value through data technologies


  • A bachelor’s degree with major or minor in Computer Science, Decision Sciences, Quantitative Analysis, Applied Mathematics or a related field.
  • At least 3 years’ experience required with an object-oriented language (e.g., Java, C#, C++, Python) or Functional/Procedural programming language (C, Perl, Java Script, Scala) and API based services
  • At least 5 years’ experience working in data and relational data platforms (SQL Server, Postgres)
  • At least 2 years’ experience required in Big Data technologies, such as Hadoop, SPARK, Hive, Athena or other MPP or NOSQL based data platform such as Redshift, Mongo, Cassandra, etc.
  • Experience with AWS is required.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills required with an ability to simply explain complex information
  • Experience in an Agile software development environment using tools like Jira/GIT.
  • Excellent problem solving, time management and interpersonal skills.
  • Experience that will put you ahead of the curve includes data visualization techniques, machine learning, SAS, Weka, MATLAB/Octave, R or other analysis packages.
