Job Description

The Decision Analytics Service team mainly focus on building offline analytics datasets and providing analytics data support to derive critical business insights. We are currently seeking a Senior Data Engineer who has strong analytical skills and a passion to build high quality datasets for business. This position is responsible for E2E data creation, including architecture design and implementation, productionization, data quality monitoring and control, within a multi-platform data system. Working in the rapidly evolving world of online payment system, this candidate should have good communication skill and be able to work with cross functional and global teams on business solution development and implementation.

Basic Qualifications

•    Master or equivalent degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science and Engineering.
•    Strong data analytics background, knowledge of statistical modeling and data mining. 1+ years’ experience in data science, decision science and quantitative optimization.
•    Highly skilled in drawing relevant conclusion from analysis; relating analysis to business outcomes and strategic goals.
•    Capable of handling big data. Prior experience with Teradata, Hadoop is big plus.
•    Experience in manipulating large and complex datasets through statistical software, such as Python or SAS or R.
•    Experienced with report analysis and development using business intelligence tools such as Tableau. Able to pick up new programming skills quickly.
