Oversee new product/policy initiation, policy compliance and portfolio performance on PPEU’s consumer and small- and medium-size business commercial/working capital lending activities as well as payment services

Job Responsibilities

  • Perform oversight on the bank’s credit portfolio
  • Monitor policy execution to ensure compliance with existing policies and procedures
  • Manage credit, and consumer-seller risk policy change governance, working with global credit team to appropriately update the applicable policy documents and ensure accurate reflection of the changes in the policy execution simulation code
  • Manage new product launch readiness projects from credit perspective as well as cross functionally across PPEU
  • Interact with global credit risk team to monitor the performance of the risk decision models
  • Interact with global credit and finance teams to monitor loss forecasting and reserving process
  • Interact with global credit control and operations teams to become aware of any operational issues as they arise and inform the bank management on root causes, remediation plans, financial impact, and preventive actions
  • Develop and deliver presentations on credit strategy proposals and results to management
  • Participate in credit audits and inspections to provide support to internal and external auditors and regulators as needed

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s, master’s, or PhD degree in a related field
  • Minimum of 4 years of experience in credit risk management and underwriting in consumer and business credit products
  • Project management experience
  • Strong written, oral, and interpersonal skills a must
  • Banking regulatory background in US and EU preferred
