PayPal’s Global Credit Risk Policy Governance team is seeking a Credit Policy Governance Analyst to manage policy documentation and issues management program. This position will work closely with the Credit Risk Policy Management team to understand their strategies, goals and key objectives. The analyst will manage product specific credit policies and procedures to ensure all documents are up to date and adhered to, the socialization of changes to existing policies with key stakeholders for approval, and practices adopted by the Bank are in full compliance with Regulatory guidance. The Policy Governance Analyst will be responsible for both internal and external relationship management activities to include multi-bank partnerships.

  • Develop and maintain relationships with the Global Credit Risk Policy teams to understand and document underwriting, portfolio management and fraud risk policies completely and accurately.  
  • Maintain policies, procedures and policy change log through real-time updates as new initiates are introduced through the governance process.
  • Maintain the issues management program through partnering with Global Credit business partners  and FLOD Testing teams to identify and document issues and root cause, maintain the  logging and tracking of issues and their associated remediation plans and provide regular reporting on the status to both internal and external business partners.
  • Ensure all bank reporting and deadlines are met in accordance with contracts, amendments and SLA’s.
  • Ensure all bank testing and oversight requirements are met, including but not limited to, on-site and remote activities.
  • Support all internal and external Credit Risk related exam/audit engagements.

  • Proven ability to interact with technical project leads, developers, quality assurance, and business team members.
  • Strong relationship management skills.
