PayPal seeks a competent User Experience/Web/Mobile Designer that consults, strategizes and conceptualizes to determine visual requirements that support the goals of the Customer Experiences (CX) Team. The candidate will need to be bright, imaginative, experienced, analytical, detail oriented and a capable creative designer with strong communication skills in a fast-paced, high-profile, multi-disciplinary and highly-collaborative work environment.

DESCRIPTION


PayPal seeks a competent User Experience/Web/Mobile Designer that consults, strategizes and conceptualizes to determine visual requirements that support the goals of the Customer Experiences (CX) Team. The candidate will need to be bright, imaginative, experienced, analytical, detail oriented and a capable creative designer with strong communication skills in a fast-paced, high-profile, multi-disciplinary and highly-collaborative work environment. 


RESPONSIBILITIES


  • Design a consistent and compelling experience that showcases key creative solutions of the CE team.
  • Develop information architecture, navigation, interaction design, wireframes and interactive prototypes with intense focus on the business requirements.
  • Establish a UX framework to create intuitive designs for mobile platforms. Collaborate with designers, developers and senior managers to bring creations to life.
  • Bring fresh and innovative design ideas by providing meaningful insight to enhance overall project quality.
  • Work to inspire the CE team and generate multiple concepts for a project.
  • Effectively communicate, coordinate and meet with all levels of the organization, both locally and globally, to garner a deep understanding of the business needs in order to create professional, high-caliber and impactful design solutions.

REQUIREMENTS


  • Minimum of 5-7 years of experience as a designer with a focus in the following areas: Web/Mobile/Interactive Design, Graphic/Visual Design
  • Fluency in current graphic design practices and production software, primarily with Sketch, Illustrator, Photoshop and InDesign, along with PowerPoint
  • Have some familiarity with the following applications, such as, but not limited to Aftereffects, Premier Pro, etc.
  • Quickly research, understand and produce brand accurate solutions
  • Effectively manage multiple projects/tasks of varying complexities, meet deadlines and work well under pressure
  • Ability to manage and train employees, to include organizing, prioritizing, and scheduling work assignments
  • Excellent organization and communication skills

EDUCATION


Bachelors of Fine Arts (or equivalent) in UX/web/mobile design, graphic/visual design, or equivalent experience
