As part of the DE Credit Team, reporting to the DE Credit Business Lead, a typical day for the DE Consumer & Merchant Credit Intern will include:

• Providing support and leadership for several high impact projects to drive growth in the current and future consumer & merchant credit businesses in Germany
• Conducting analyses, researching the credit market & competitive environment, and synthesizing your findings in presentations for stakeholders and senior management
• Monitoring, analyzing and reporting on business KPIs and preparing presentations of the results

What does Success Look Like?  

  • Establish yourself as a valuable member of the DE Credit team
  • Prepare weekly business updates to the DEATCH management and monthly business updates to the Global Credit management team
  • Build a knowledge library for merchant queries and be point of contact for external telesales questions to support merchant onboarding
  • Conduct biannual research and analysis of competitive landscape for consumer & merchant credit in Germany
  • Create database of monthly merchant statistics and analyze trends for best and worst performing
  • Produce and distribute VAT statements to merchants
  • Lead small projects and support with project management oversight
  • Provide general administrative support on an ad-hoc basis

About You:

  • Bachelor/Masters studies in business or related fields
  • Fluent in English
  • Excellent analytical skills and Excel and PowerPoint experience
  • Project management skills to drive projects
  • Available for a 6 months internship starting ASAP
  • Results oriented, fun, energetic personality
  • Works well under pressure and in a cross-functional and multi-national team
  • Flexible and willing to take on any challenge in front of you with a high level of passion and creativity
