This new role is to support the Consumer Credit team in the UK. You will be responsible for supporting key strategic initiatives around the enhancement and development of Credit Products. You will use numerous sources to gain insights to drive and maintain commercial growth, with a focus on providing market insight, and defining, managing and enhancing key processes. The role will be supporting the Consumer Credit Business team of 6, as well as the wider UK Credit team.

Responsibilities:

  • Be responsible for drafting monthly management decks, planning slides and performance reporting
  • Research, gather and present specific business and project requirements as directed.
  • Proactively assist the delivery of ongoing tasks supporting Credit Programmes in the UK.
  • Support the team to deliver business growth initiatives
  • Identify and monitor customer experience enhancements and customer remediations
  • Support and manage credit projects as designated
  • Support Credit GM with ad hoc tasks that arise.
  • Assist Credit team with Go To Market plans.
  • Undertake competitor research to help prioritise proposition improvements
  • Understand and consolidate key achievements, challenges, risk, insights and progress against key initiatives


Experience:

  • 2+ years experience required gained in a Financial/Operations organisation
  • Bachelor’s degree is desirable but not essential.


Skills & Abilities:

  • Ability to prioritise, manage resources and focus on delivery
  • Strong communication skills in all formats (verbal, written) and the ability to effectively communicate with all levels within the organisation.
  • An enthusiastic team player whilst able to ‘self start’ and work independently
  • Ability to rapidly conduct root cause analysis, problem solve and execute a solution under pressure
  • High integrity, trust, ethics and values
  • Ability to deal with ambiguity

Knowledge:

  • Proficiency in MS office - particularly PowerPoint.
  • Strong business acumen.
  • An understanding of operations (i.e. change management, operational excellence).
  • An understanding of PayPal processes and/or credit knowledge is desirable.
