PayPal is looking for a leader to join the Comercial Operations team for Cross-Border Trade (CBT) Markets in Singapore. Reporting to the Director of Commercial Operations for CBT Markets, the newly created role will play a critical part in helping the team scale and execute on it's key strategic growth and sales transformation priorities. It’s a highly cross-functional role with exposure to senior management and direct ownership of some of the most impactful and exciting projects which the team is executing. The ideal candidate has significant experience in leading and managing complex global projects with multiple stakeholders, great business acumen, strong operational experience and excellent communication skills with the ability to distill complex ideas into actionable recommendations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Serve as a partner to the CBT leadership team by leading and executing on key strategic projects and initiatives that are critical to achieving our long term growth and/or delivering against our in-year targets. Examples include driving the expansion of our platform capabilities (withdrawals, acquiring footprint), enabling sales teams (distribution partnerships, lead gen frameworks), market development efforts, etc..
  • Identify and implement projects that drive operational efficiencies across our sales activities (e.g., underwriting policy frameworks for specific verticals, etc)
  • Develop & Monitor KPIs to identify potential areas of opportunity to improve operating leverage and sales execution
  • Serve as the connective tissue across functional teams to develop and share best practices
  • Coordinate and align cross-functional teams for strategic planning
