These are exciting times to be part of CPI Quality and Infrastructure team! We write code and develop programs/products for higher quality, reliability and monitoring of our products across Infrastructure, Cloud Platform, Platform as a Service and Developer Experience. We are building frameworks and automation that propels our products into continuous build and deploy journey. Our code executes health checks, measure reliability, availability and performance of our live products. Some of the capabilities also includes data analytics, auto triage/debug and auto remediation of issues found on live products. We are pushing boundaries on what automation can do!

 * Contribute to PayPal's Infrastructure and Cloud services
* Work with Cloud platform APIs and understanding of containers (Docker/Mesos)
* Participate and provide expertise in product development lifecycle including requirement gathering and analysis, design reviews and code reviews.
* Lead the design and development of automation test framework for PayPal's platform, infrastructure and framework services. Prototype solutions accordingly.
* Frequently create, revise and execute test-plans in according with the latest design specifications
* Collaborate with developers, product managers, quality engineers and other teams in order to determine when components meet acceptable quality criteria (on functionality, reliability, scalability, robustness) and benchmarks and give the go-ahead for release to production and achieve business results
* Provide expertise in distributed systems’ UI and API specification and certification
* Identify project risks and recommend process improvements
* Work on projects independently and provide technical help to other engineers
* Work in an agile team environment

Special Skill Requirements:
Experience must include the following: Software development lifecycle; Java; SQL; Python; Design Patterns; Data structures and algorithms, time and task management; Agile Methodologies; Test Automation; Distributed systems, cloud computing technologies, RESTful web services; JSON; Enterprise application development; Test-driven development(TDD)
