Work closely with the Global Product Engagement & eServ PMO leadership team, leading all aspects of the day to day strategy and operations, inclusive of strategy formulation, financial governance, investment decisioning, strategic program management, operating rhythms, stakeholder engagement and employee engagement. Act as a trusted adviser to the leadership providing counsel and serving as a sounding board to influence, inform and as necessary challenge decisions; leveraging both inside and outside perspectives.

The Head of Business Operations promotes solid execution and fact-based decision-making across the organization; acting as the ‘connective tissue’ that links all aspects of the organization seamlessly. Global Product Engagement & eServ PMO is the product development liaison building a strong engagement with corporate functions and across product development product portfolios. We are responsible for few execution functions: enterprise product planning and engagement, program management for the horizontal program and for Enterprise Services, education and talent development, as well product delivery risk and governance. The Head of Business Operations will ensure our operating model, OKR’s, investment plan and portfolio are designed and implemented to deliver against the defined strategy.

Key responsibilities include: 

  • Trusted advisor to the leadership team:  Serve as on-the-ground execution for a wide variety of cross-functional projects for the leadership team.  Ability to navigate internal networks and build internal consensus is a must.
  • Strategic thinking and research: Bring outside-in thinking to the organization, highlighting industry trends that should be considered and evaluated. Act as a disruptor questioning the status-quo. Drive all aspects of the development of the organization’s strategy.
  • Organizational and operating discipline: Create and manage operating routines that facilitate decision-making, autonomy, leadership alignment, and team engagement, inclusive of staff meetings, operational reviews, leadership off sites, All Hands, etc. Set the agenda, facilitate discussion and communicate outcomes. Work closely with leaders across the organization to develop goals and Objectives and Key Results; develop systems for managing performance against those goals. Ensure effective organizational change execution in partnership with Finance, People, Comms, and other key organizations
  • Program & portfolio management:  Direct the initiation and provide oversight of key enterprise programs; drive compliance with enterprise best practices and standards.  Aggregate programs as a portfolio, ensuring the portfolio delivers against desired business outcomes.
  • Executional accelerator for leadership: Develop policies and/or processes necessary to implement decisions made by the leadership team.  Help to manage the leadership team direct staff and facilitate accountability for key priorities. Assist with executive talent matters as needed.
  • Communications for the team: Create/shape presentations for Leadership.
  • People operations: Partnering with HR Business Partners, co-lead implementation of employee lifecycle: manage and rollout programs that attract, acquire, retain, evaluate, grow, promote, talent. Ensure effective organizational communication: keep the organization well-informed through various established channels of communications; drive organizational awareness of culture, policy, organizational updates, decisions, etc.; ensure high employee engagement through following implemented policies and procedures.
  • The ideal candidate will have 10+ years of experience and has proven experience working closely with executives, in a fast-paced environment; applying strong consultative skills, including business acumen, customer empathy, and the ability to influence and partner. This person thrives in a dynamic, global, fluid, matrix environment and is results-focused. Is comfortable leading from both the front and the rear, as situations dictate. History in communications, business & strategy development preferred.
