In this role you will be part of building marketing technology products to aid customer growth and business expansion. You will arm the marketing (sales and other teams alike) with technologies that optimize and automate their experiences for inbound and outbound marketing. As the Lead PM for Channel and Web Distribution, you will be responsible for driving the strategy and development of products that will help PayPal Marketing distribute experiences across paid, owned and earned channels on desktop and mobile devices.

Responsibilities for the Lead Product Manager Channel and Web Distribution include:

  • Creating the digital channel and web distribution MarTech roadmap to ensure consistent, personalized experiences across all channels and device types.
  • Working with cross-functional teams with Marketing Ops, Product & Engineering to drive an enterprise-wide POV on content distribution and automation.
  • Developing platform capabilities and insights using a variety of analytical methods to deliver outstanding customer experiences
  • Collaborating closely with regional teams and other related product managers, technical architects, engineers and other cross-functional stakeholders, to ensure that the product solution delivers against business objectives
  • Creating use cases and detailed product requirements documents to articulate desired product features and functionality to technical, user experience & design, and other cross-functional teams
  • Collaborating cross-organizationally with sales, marketing, customer support, operations, legal, compliance, risk management, engineering, user experience, QA and other functional areas, to ensure alignment with related go-to-market activities
  • Ensuring cross-functional product team execution (with Project Manager and Engineering Manager), meeting project milestone dates, driving decisions across teams and escalating appropriately
  • Monitoring impact of product features on merchant usage, merchant engagement, and other key metrics
  • Develop metrics and studies to quantify the value of different aspects of business processes and consumer behavior
  • Optimizing technology investment through clear tradeoffs between time-to-market and long term solutions
  • Translate analytic insights into concrete, actionable recommendations for business or product improvement • Troubleshooting product issues and answer product questions – be the product ‘expert’
  • Acting as a product evangelist to build awareness and understanding of your product and its features across the company

  • 5+ years of experience working on platform products and applications
  • Ability to build products starting with the customer and data
