Sales Solutions & Operations:

Our Sales intern roles range from supporting our sales team in strategic and tactical decision making, delivering actionable customer insights and identifying new opportunities to acquire new merchants. Responsibilities will also include supporting all the behind the scenes processes and policies that enable our sales team to successfully sell PayPal solutions to millions of merchants. You will get the unique opportunity to deliver projects with significant impact within PayPal.

Business Growth/Development:

These business growth and development roles will support critical aspect of our business in different areas, ranging from managing ‘frontbook’ and ‘backbook’ partners, analysing key financials and data, program strategy performance monitoring and analysis, and providing the teams with insights and recommendation to further accelerate growth. Each of these opportunities will enable you to play a role in keeping our business on track to deliver, or better yet, exceed our objectives.


This exciting opportunity will support in the delivery of our offer program and marketing partnerships with strategic merchants in key verticals such as Gaming, Fashion, Travel & Charity. We are looking to create innovative and impactful marketing programs that aim to increase our checkout conversion rates as well as build a brand affinity and broader usage of PayPal’s product offering.  


Our business financing solutions Intern will be part of a team delivering funding to support merchants in the UK and around the world. This role is a great opportunity to help us develop strategic and tactical initiatives, deliver actionable business and customer insights, and be a key contributor in projects that directly support the needs of small businesses throughout the UK.

Job Requirements:

  • Energetic and positive, with a ‘can do’, willing to learn attitude
  • You will be able to think creatively, communicate efficiently internally and external: you will have a strong desire to succeed and develop personal and professional skills
  • Analytical mindset and comprehensive MS office knowledge (knowledge of SQL is a plus)
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with a good attention to detail
  • Good team player with collaborative approach and ability to forge constructive relationships quickly whilst being able to work alone and deal with ambiguity

Preferred Qualifications

  • Currently pursuing or completed a degree with expected grade of at least a 2:1 or equivalent in a business/commercial related subject
  • Ability to commit to a 12 months internship starting in summer 2019

  • Previous experience in Sales, Marketing, Analysis, Business Development or related fields
