Under direct report to the Inside Sales Team Leader, the Business Development Representative will be responsible for working proactively as a member of the Inside Sales team in contributing towards continuous business growth by investigating new business opportunities and growing sales.

Secure new merchants via outbound calls through the alignment of their business needs to PayPal’s customized payment solutions;
Able to quickly and accurately set calendar appointments for Account Executives;
Serve as a trusted advisor and consultant to all merchants throughout the entire sales and onboarding process;
Ability to learn and implement PayPal’s proven, structured sales process, ultimately resulting in an accurate product recommendation;
Open to consistent, formal coaching from leadership, sales coaches and peers; 
Aptitude to understand and articulate key business drivers and overcome merchant objections by effectively communication the PayPal value propositions;
Maintain consistent high call quality as pre-determined by leadership and sales coaches; 
Effectively communicate a high level of technical, e-commerce, and business acumen within and between teams;
Competitive nature with a strong passion to exceed personal and professional goals; 
Consistently meet or exceed pre-assigned KPIs (Key Performance Indicators) and activity targets.
