The Sales Manager acts as a strategic executive of the most strategically important partners in Brazil and PayPal seeks one to lead Brazil’s LE team, assertively positioning our solution portfolio to key companies within Brazilian market. Seated in São Paulo and reporting to the Head of LE, this position will drive revenue retention, growth and new business, helping to uncover projects and new opportunities working on our products and services. You will coordinate the team and build relationships internally with all departments, including IT, Operation, Products, Marketing, Finance as well as international colleagues to foster best practices and remove barriers to success. This particular position is responsible for managing all aspects of new and actual relationship partners through these strategic alliances as well as bringing business to maturity and finding new opportunities within the same partners.

What will be your key responsibilities:

  • Manage sales team to meet/exceed monthly goals;
  • Represent PayPal at client facing events including onsite meetings, conferences, industry events, travel as required;
  • Foster relationships with industry leaders, stay ahead of industry news and anticipate trends;
  • Coach team members on qualitative aspects of customer interaction on the phone, via email and in person, travel as required;
  • Lead and guarantee the execution of end-to-end business development;
  • Measure and manage sales team productivity and effectiveness;
  • Analyze performance reporting and make recommendations on how to improve the team's performance;
  • Partner with fellow managers on creation and implementation of team best practices
  • Analyze and forecast teams output on a monthly/quarterly basis
  • Engage in ongoing performance reviews of team members and summarize these findings for management;
  • Planning and execution for strategic go to market for key segments;
  • Develop a pro-active agenda with partners, being responsible for business governance and leading new implementations.

  • Strong people management skills;
  • Fluent speaker and writer in English and Portuguese;

  • Proven ability on driving efficient high delivery structures.
