We are seeking experienced Business Development Executives to join the Mid Market Acquisition Team in a contract capacity. Your role will be to reach out to businesses with the aim of signing up new merchants or cross-selling to existing PayPal merchants. You will support your merchants from acquisition through to integration and ensure they are live and running. To be successful, you should have experience in consultative selling and strong pipeline management. We will provide you with leads as well as expect you to identify your own through your growing network and self-prospecting. We can also offer a true flexible working arrangement!

Core responsibilities:

  • Utilise consultative selling skills to acquire new merchants and/or cross-sell updated products to existing merchants
  • Proactive pipeline management with a focus on growing incremental revenue
  • Meet and exceed daily, weekly and monthly targets
  • Follow up on qualified leads turning them into sales opportunities and signing up those Merchants interested in using PayPal as a partner
  • Build your pipeline and sign up merchants to one of the suite of PayPal products
  • Display consultative selling skills while building collaborative relationships with customers and colleagues
  • Follow up on qualified leads turning them into sales opportunities and signing up those Merchants interested in using PayPal as a partner

Experience required:

  • Previous telesales experience essential
  • Proven and strong outbound calling experience within a high volume targeted environment
  • New business development expertise
  • Pipeline management
  • Excellent oral and written communication
  • Fluent in English 
  • Proven experience working and contributing in a team environment
