Highly motivated and proactive Business Analyst with high technical skills and a keen business acumen. This business analyst will work with Senior Analysts to help analyze data, build reports, and create dashboards that will help business units within PayPal make informed decisions based on historial data and statistical analysis.

REQUIREMENTS:


  • 2-3 years experience in a Business Intelligence or Data Analysis role that include building data interpretation and building statistical models in a fast paced technical environment
  • Excellent written/verbal English and Spanish in a business environment
  • Proactive and self-motivated
  • Solid problem solving skills, technical aptitude and good interpersonal skills.
  • Strong independent decision making skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail, organizational and follow-up skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to foster strong professional relationships with internal partners
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Strong MySQL/ SQL knowledge
  • Strong Excel knowledge
  • Knowledge and experience using statistical computing languages like R and/or Python
  • Desired: Tableau knowledge


RESPONSABILITIES:


  • Design, generate, and communicate analytics reports and dashboards specifically to measure, monitor, and alert the business regarding unforeseen shifts in the performance and operational risks of the various business units
  • Regularly analyze quantitative user data to measure effectiveness, customer behavior and conversion, and make metric-driven/non-subjective recommendations to improve customer experience
  • Create ad-hoc reports as requested in a timely and accurate manner, assist senior Analysts  with various tasks and items as needed, comply with all company policies and departmental procedures, ensuring honest and ethical business conduct at all times while maintaining a positive attitude
  • Partner with various business teams to evaluate and determine the optimal strategies for business growth
  • Work on data intensive requirements given to the Business Analytics team
  • Work directly with Senior Analysts to build reports, dashboards, models, etc. that will help different business units understand KPIs and performance
  • Work closely with the Data Science team to build and interpret statistical models

EDUCATION:


  • Engineering degree with studies or experience in Business Intelligence or Statistics
