PayPal Global Billing and Payments (GBAP) team is looking for billing analyst to support adjacency invoicing and billing operation tasks. Ideal candidate will be self-motivated; detailed; efficient; work independently; have an accounting background; and possess excellent analytical and problem solving skills.

  • Support billing process for new entities and PayPal Billing adjacency (Full Order to Cash process: issue invoices, AR aging analysis, contact customer and PayPal partners to resolve unpaid balances and/or unallocated payments, answer customer queries, relay/report to other PayPal departments)
  • Implement and enhance payment and billing processes that will improve the customer experience 
  • Confirm proper treatment and compliance with policies of all billing and payment transactions
  • Maintain system and process documentation
  • Analyze complex payment or billing issues and effectively solve problems. Identify risks and issues
  • Support monthly billing ProForma activity during key bill runs
  • Gather and analyze billing data. Provide reporting and statistics as needed, overseeing the results of the adjacencies and new PayPal entities 
  • Collaborate across PayPal’s departments, 3rd party vendors and clearing houses
  • Act as US back up support for Kenan operational support
  • The ideal individual will become a billing processing expert with a solid understanding of all payment and billing tools, activities and processes
  • Distinct customer-focus and ability to work in a dynamic team environment
  • Understanding of the inside functions of and the flow through a billing and payment system
  • Willing to accept and function in a constantly changing, fast paced environment
  • Flexible and willing to take on different tasks as needed

REQUIRED:

  • Bachelors Degree in Finance or similar
  • 1 to 2 years of related professional experience
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Self-starter with strong communication skills
  • Ability to work independently; yet collaborate across functions and teams to drive results
