The BFS Global Third Party Control Analyst (TPCA) assists the Third Party Manager (TPM) with program oversight on designated vendors. The TPCA will manage the day-to-day needs of the designated Third Party relationship, and will coordinate with the TPM, who will have overall responsibility of the Third Party relationship. The BFS Global TPCA is responsible for monitoring the Third Party to confirm compliance with the defined parameters of the program agreement, as well as the minimum standards set forth in PayPal’s policies. Additional responsibilities include, but are not limited to, ensuring the timely receipt of all required data / reports on credit, operations, compliance, finance/settlement, policies and procedures, account management, vendor management and technology. The BFS Global TPCA interacts with, and is supported by, each respective department within BFS that are required for ongoing oversight, reviews and monitoring of the designated vendors. The BFS Global TPCA is the primary contact for Control Partners within PayPal.

  • The BFS Global TPCA is the primary point of contact for each assigned vendor for data/reporting, performance against Service Level Agreements (SLA) and works closely with the TPM who owns the Third Party relationship
  • Ensures compliance with agreed upon timeline for receipt of data/reporting to the BFS Group
  • Interacts on a regular basis with each assigned vendor to review progress related to any managed issues, opportunities and contractual requirements
  • Works closely with the Relationship Compliance Officer (RCO), Control Partners within PayPal,  and each respective department within BFS responsible for BFS first line oversight including program and product testing, compliance reviews, incident and issues reporting and resolution, complaints, and monitoring of assigned vendors
  • Responsible for scheduling site visits, preparing the agenda, managing the site visits, drafting the site visit reports (in collaboration with other PayPal employees), reporting any management findings or recommendations, and working with areas to track any findings or recommendations to conclusion
  • Work with the Vendor Risk Manager in drafting and proofing the annual risk assessment for assigned vendors
  • Support geographic expansion / growth with the onboarding of new vendors as assigned

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree with 3 - 5 years of consumer and/or commercial financing experience primarily focused on operations of consumer and commercial private-label or bank card products.  Similar experience with bank card processor is a plus
  • Good people management skills including the ability to work well in a team or on an individual basis
  • Excellent ability to analyze data / reports, recognize trends or issues and communicate results out to management
  • Ability to interface effectively with other departments and operate in a fast-paced environment with minimum supervision
