Having world-class products is great and to continue our growth we need to be known far and wide – this is where the Marketing Manager DE/NL comes in. We’re looking for a dynamic and curious person to bring passion, business acumen, innovation and focus on performance and results to the marketing team. This is a ~15 months assignment (covering for a colleague on parental leave), but there is a chance to get permanent employment in iZettle’s marketing team.

You will be working closely with your Marketing and Commercial colleagues to drive revenue growth by generating quality leads and growing the sales pipeline with a focus on impact and ROI. You will report to the Global Marketing Management Lead and work alongside the wider Marketing and Sales Teams. The role requires strong experience in managing marketing and demand generation projects with a deep understanding of digital marketing in an international B2B environment. 

You will manage complex projects, with multiple stakeholders, various marketing activities and markets. You enjoy working in cross functional teams, managing resources and stakeholders to deliver significant business growth. You’re resourceful, flexible, pragmatic and driven. You pride yourself in being a team player and you’re fun to be around. You enjoy focusing on the big picture, while ensuring all details are aligned.

In this role you will:

  • Develop the country marketing strategies, in close collaboration with central marketing and your local commercial colleagues

  • Plan and execute marketing initiatives and lead generation campaigns, and evaluate vs targets

  • Develop and optimise the lead generation strategy for our product portfolio and align this with other marketing and sales activities

  • Set targets for, track and improve customer acquisition and activation campaign performance

  • Plan for, set targets and develop business cases with budget asks for online and certain key offline marketing and demand generation activities

  • Work with the creative, digital and CRM teams to improve traffic, lead conversion rates and retention

  • Location: Stockholm

You are comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and have the ability to juggle multiple projects and stakeholders simultaneously.   • Experience with marketing automation platforms and CRM.

  • Experience working as a true partner with Sales to deliver shared goals.

  • Experience in managing the budget and paid campaigns. 

  • Experience from working in a multinational company would be a merit.

  • Huge motivation by achieving metrics (leads volume, revenue, profit, ROI etc).

  • Focus on the big picture, whilst ensuring all details are aligned.

  • Fluent in English + German and/or Dutch.

  • Proven self starter.

  • You’re an experienced and dedicated project leader, with a proven track-record of complex stakeholder management

  • You’re an experienced marketer with a solid marketing knowledge in planning, execution and follow up

  • You're business oriented and data driven with strong analytical skills - able to evaluate channel and campaign success from strategic, brand and financial perspectives and develop business cases based on ROI

  • You’re a proven self starter with a focus on navigating around challenges to ensure timely follow through

  • You're a strong team player with an equally strong can-do attitude

  • You have an excellent track record of success in fast-paced environments with changing priorities

  • You enjoy contributing with structure and focus
