The Manager, B2B Digital Strategy & Planning, will help drive budget optimization, cross-channel forecasting, digital channel mix development, audience strategy and results reporting to stakeholders across PayPal Inc.’s diverse portfolio of merchant products. This person will sit within Growth Lab, reporting into the Director, B2B Digital Strategy & Planning.

The primary responsibility of this role includes partnering with stakeholders across the merchant product portfolio to plan and execute their digital marketing campaigns. This individual will have a world-class, global team of digital marketing experts at his or her disposal, spanning Email, SEM/paid-search, Display/Programmatic, Social Media, Affiliate and other digital channels. This Manager will be responsible for developing integrated, cross-channel strategies inclusive of data-driven audience targeting leveraging PayPal’s unique 1st party data assets.

This candidate will be analytical, extremely detail oriented, proactive, articulate, organized and able to juggle multiple tasks and initiatives at the same time.  Further, this person must be able to articulate complex strategies in a concise and compelling manner for peers, stakeholders and senior leaders to understand and buy-in.

Finally, the ideal candidate is someone who is a self-starter, eager to please, ability to identify and address future risks before they become issues and is a skilled change agent.  As this person will be working with Sr. Leadership they also need to be comfortable and offering their opinion with more senior colleagues.

  • 10+ years of experience with top-tier Management Consultancy (e.g., Boston Consulting, McKinsey, Deloitte), Marketing Consultancies (e.g., Digitas), or in-house digital marketing experience
  • Experience marketing through various digital channels (traditional marketing channels a plus, but not required)
  • Master’s Degree/MBA and 10+years or Doctorate and 8+ years preferred
  • Deep understanding of adtech/martech platforms, and strong POV for future landscape for the industry
  • Superb written and verbal communication skills including creating and delivering presentations
  • Understanding of the financial services, financial tech and payments industry/ecosystems
  • Mastery of forecasting and budgeting
