This role will focus on influencing increase PayPal’s share of total payment volume of these merchants either through recommended changes to their existing accounts or up-/cross-selling other products & services for additional business owned or controlled by the merchants.

  • This role requires strong communication and email writing skills as it focuses upon making outbound calls and emails to PayPal merchants based in SEA.
  • The candidate will be required to communicate, consult, and educate on operational & business aspects related to various Business Unit enablement programs.
  • Becoming a trusted advisor by identifying opportunities for proactive discussions with merchants regarding their business is essential for success.
  • Ongoing monitoring of account activity will need collaboration with internal cross-functional teams like operations & risk to provide support in addressing the needs and issues of SEA merchants.
  • Daily interaction with merchants for educating and training them on PayPal’s unique value propositions, e.g. products, features & risk management and exploring how PayPal can assist them in meeting their overall business objectives is required
