PayPal UI Engineering team looking for a solid Android developer to be part of a mission to bring cohesive customer experiences through community-driven design across Web and Native.

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of experience in Android software engineering
  • Minimum 8+ years software development experience
  • Confidence in advocating for and implementing design patterns
  • Have previously designed and built client-side integration with REST APIs
  • Have deployed apps in production environments, serving several thousand mobile users
  • Write unit tests not because you have to, but because you know it makes your code better
  • Can take and give constructive criticism in the form of code reviews and pair programming
  • Want to work in an Agile, fast-paced environment, with continuous build, integration, deployment and monitoring frameworks like Jenkins, Bugsnag, Mixpanel
  • Are confident in your knowledge of Git, with experience to support your recommendations on best practices
  • Have excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • B.S. or equivalent degree in Computer Science.
