The PayPal (Canada) Governance, Risk and Compliance team is expanding and looking for a Compliance Analyst to support the administration of the Canada Compliance program in accordance with both federal and provincial regulatory requirements. The successful candidate will have knowledge of financial services compliance and AMLTF legislation and FINTRAC guidelines. This role will involve working with global teams and stakeholders as well as work closely with the business unit to manage and enhance existing processes, identify and remediate issues, and assist the Canada CCO on the day-to-day management of the Governance, Risk, and Compliance program.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide day-to-day compliance program support to the Canada CCO
  • Project management support
  • Developing and reviewing KRIs
  • Risk and compliance review process support
  • Assisting in implementation on strategic initiatives
  • Ad-hoc projects as necessary

Knowledge, Qualification:

  • 1-3 years of compliance experience, experience in financial services and/or payment processing industry also an asset.
  • Strong project management skills, with the ability to influence others.
  • Ability to multitask effortlessly and manage competing priorities under demanding deadlines.
  • Demonstrated ability to learn quickly, manage projects and drive/achieve results.
  • Strong computer knowledge; excellent MS Word, Excel, Visio, and PowerPoint skills.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong writing, research, analytical, problem solving, and organizational skills
  • Operate with strong integrity with the ability to handle projects of a sensitive and confidential nature.
