This is a great opportunity for a skilled Sales/Business Development Professional to join the dynamic and entrepreneurial Latin America business team at PayPal. The Business Development Manager will be responsible for developing and implementing business plans to directly and indirectly grow business with Large Enterprises in the region. He/She will communicate with high-level executives and represent the company in sales meetings and contract negotiations with Merchants and Partners. This position will be based in the San Francisco Bay Area or New York City and require frequent travel.

Responsibilities: • Understand e-commerce and payments processing ecosystem and trends for each country of the territory. Key stakeholders of the ecosystem include top online merchants, marketplaces, shopping carts, local and regional payment service providers and regulators. • Co-define priorities and go-to-market strategy with Head of Large Enterprise Development to maximize business growth in the territory. Define target segments as well as key alliances and partnerships to pursue. • Prospect within target segments and develop incoming leads. Understand Merchant objectives and articulate PayPal s value proposition for diverse industries and audiences. Negotiate commercial terms and close agreements. • Obtain internal approvals from Risk, Legal/Compliance and Finance to onboard new merchants. Manage relationships through integration phase along with the Professional Services team. • Collaborate with Relationship Management team to monitor performance of existing merchants and promote projects to increase merchant s sales and PayPal s share of checkout. • Collaborate with PayPal s Marketing Manager and Merchant Marketing team to develop and execute co- marketing initiatives to increase revenue and user acquisition. • Create business analyses, weekly and monthly forecasts and other progress reports.

Requirements: • Prior success in selling into complex customer environments with multiple decision makers (internal and external) at executive level. • Ability to build strong relationships internally and externally. • Outstanding analytical and execution skills; can drive quality insights and deliver high impact projects. • Excellent interpersonal and presentation skills. • Can do attitude, team player, fun and energetic personality • Bachelors degree required. MBA or Masters degree is a plus.
