PayPal is seeking an Account Based Marketing Associate to lead our European Events and Direct Mail program, in addition to supporting other initiatives that are part of our European Enterprise ABM program. We’re looking for a smart, ambitious, self-starter who is a master at executing and getting things done!     • Develop and execute creative event strategies in order to drive brand awareness and engagement at conferences. This includes managing and organizing relevant and engaging event swag.
    • Manage and execute the day-to-day requirements of owned events, partnership events and presence at conferences and trade shows. This includes creating timelines, liaising with venues, suppliers and agencies, and managing legalities.
    • Manage and oversee events on the day of, including problem-solving, welcoming guests, directing event set-up, communicating with staff, and organising vendors.
    • Identify opportunities for Braintree to leverage partnerships with associations in order to create sales opportunities. Work closely with sales to capture and track event leads within Salesforce.
    • Manage event costs aligned to the budget, and provide post event evaluation to inform future events, including comprehensive ROI reporting.
    • Support the Marketing Manager in implementing programmatic campaigns aligned to sales strategies across the buyer journey. You'll use various channels, including OOH, digital, social ads, webinars, and email nurture campaigns.
    • Take a data-driven approach to the customization of marketing programs for buyers, creating a vertical-based or other personalized assets/campaigns as needed.
    • Ensure the correct development of tools and materials supporting the messages are used in your programs.
    • Collaborate with partner associations, vendors, agencies, venues and internal stakeholders including sales, marketing, sale enablement, PR, legal and finance.
    • Help manage vendor relationships, run reports, create dashboards and assist as needed to support our overall Enterprise marketing efforts.


    • 3+ years of relevant marketing work experience, e.g. in high-tech, B2B demand generation or Account Based Marketing, managing events and webinars
    • Excellent track record of driving event plans, logistics, POs, and measuring effectiveness
    • Proven track record in executing innovative and multi-touch digital, events, direct mail, and demand generation marketing programs.
    • High attention to detail.
    • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel,, Google analytics.
