The Third Party Risk, Manager will support the Third Party Management Program framework that enables the Company to govern, monitor, and mitigate Risks to gain increased value from Third Parties throughout the life cycle. The person we are seeking must be self-motivated and have proven experience influencing and communicating effectively across all levels of the company. He or she should have proven ability to build relationships/partnerships and work cross-functionally to drive time sensitive deliverables.

Key Responsibilities Include

  • Support the Third Party Management program globally across PayPal, providing regional support for Singapore and the entire APAC and EMEA regions. 
  • In collaboration with the Third Party Management Program (TPMP) team; support and implement a third party management risk program across PayPal 
  • Communicate, educate and enforce a common and consistent approach to third party management within the business units
  • Develop and update the policies, standards, and processes for the third party management program
  • Serve as the TPMP main point of contact to APAC regulators 
  • Thorough understanding all relevant internal policies and external regulatory requirements, ensuring the Third Party Management program remains current
  • Ensure concepts of materiality, unified risk assessment, third party segmentation are applied to create a comprehensive, yet practical, program
  • Support, analyze and act as a resource for the management of the Third Party Information platform, engaging with technical leads, PMO and stakeholders
  • Serve as a point of contact, for resolving Third Party issues
  • Establish close working relationships with key business partners; outsourcing management, enterprise risk and compliance, information security, privacy, resiliency, legal, internal audit and line-of-business third party leads
  • Support special projects and initiatives: special projects vary from strategic initiatives to day-to-day operations.  Support needs will vary by project and will require strong analytical and problem solving skills, excellent written and verbal communication skills and the ability to multi-task and prioritize effectively

Education, Experience and Skills

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent required 
  • Must be able to work with limited supervision  
  • 8+ years related professional experience
  • Minimum 4 years of experience within a regulated industry; preferably at a financial institution
  • Must be able to multi-task, manage multiple projects simultaneously and work in a fast-paced environment and participate in incident remediation as needed
  • Minimum 4 years of experience within a regulated industry; preferably at a financial institution
  • Experience with Third Party risk or enterprise risk process or program development a plus 
  • Project management skills and a desire to drive sustainable change.
  • High energy with a superb attention to detail and the ability to prioritize and deliver in a deadline-oriented environment
  • Proficiency with Excel, PowerPoint, and Microsoft products 
  • Must possess outstanding interpersonal, written, and verbal communications skills.
  • Ability to work globally and cross-functionally and lead change in a fast-paced environment
  • Some travel may be required
