PayPal's Technology and Information Security Oversight team is seeking a Governance Manager to Provide day-to-day support for Technology and Information Security Governance and Reporting program. Manage all aspects of PayPal’s Technology and Information Security Risk Working Groups in support of the Authorized Risk Committee. Draft materials for the ESG committee on technology risk and information security issues. Review Board and Committee meeting materials prepared by other internal stakeholders. Collect, prepare, and review governance materials for presentation to senior leadership and management committees. Prepare initial drafts of Committee and Working Group meeting agendas, minutes, and other governance documents. Support logistics for governance forums. Maintain enterprise technology and information security governance calendar and drive teams toward deadlines. Coordinate with regional oversight and governance teams. Maintain repositories of governance materials. Develop responses to requests for information from external partners, internal audit, and regulators or examiners. Actively develop relationships with key leadership and stakeholders and work collaboratively across organizations within and outside of PayPal to drive results and influence issue resolution. Champion the Technology and Information Security Oversight goals and objectives across the enterprise. Communicate effectively with various internal stakeholders across the Company including senior leaders, Committee Administrators, and others. Make recommendations on process improvement opportunities. Execute on special projects as needed.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant discipline, Master’s degree preferred.

  • 5+ years experience of increasing responsibility, preferably in a risk management/governance role.

  • Excellent organizational skills and superior attention to detail and accuracy.

  • Demonstrated ability to learn quickly, manage projects and drive/achieve results.

  • Ability to multitask effortlessly and manage competing priorities under demanding deadlines.

  • Strong computer knowledge; excellent MS Word, Excel, Visio, and PowerPoint skills.

  • Superior verbal and written communication skills.

  • Operate with strong integrity with the ability to handle projects of a sensitive and confidential nature.

  • Outstanding professionalism and business judgment.

  • Skilled in problem solving and analytical reasoning.

  • Ability to prioritize work, meet deadlines, achieve goals, and work under pressure in a dynamic and complex environment.

  • Proven ability to operate in ambiguous environments and exhibit agility in navigating from current state to proposed solutions.
