PayPal’s growing talent organization is building out its executive recruiting function across both tech and business functions. We are looking for a dynamic Tech Executive Recruiter who will manage executive recruiting needs for our technical functions. Working closely with our senior leadership, we are looking for someone who can develop strong relationships, demonstrate results and develop a scalable process for the company. The Tech Executive Recruiter will focus on quality without sacrificing speed and will own the process from start to finish including developing thorough position specifications, making candidate sourcing calls, identifying and evaluating candidates, presenting candidates effectively, conducting reference checks, and negotiating the offer process through to successfully closing the search. This individual is a critical partner to the entire Executive Recruiting Team including coordinators, researchers, sourcers and other executive recruiters. Outside of the immediate team, this person is an ambassador for executive talent acquisition and builds strong relationships with key partners such as Executive Onboarding, Executive Assistants and HR Business Partners. We are looking for a tech-industry expert that knows how to engage with high-growth, start-up, tech leaders. Success will be defined by the delivery of candidates and client feedback, timeliness of the work, quality of problem solving and by growing the brand for Executive Recruiting with ‘surprise and delight’ moments for our stakeholders. The Tech Executive Recruiter is usually the very first face candidates meet and the importance of making the right impression is critical to their experience.

Responsibilities

  • Cultivate a diverse network and proactively engage talent for existing and future roles - always has a pulse on the business strategy and aligns executive talent to match the strategy
  • Share market insight and intelligence based on previous tech search connections and experience
  • Deliver on headcount goals for executive hiring for the business functions
  • Develop a scalable process for executive recruiting across the company's technical functions
  • Report out on progress to necessary stakeholders and diagnose any problem-solve any hurdles to get to a successful result
  • Manage high-profile candidates from initial outreach to onsites to offer negotiations
  • Manage the end-to-end process with executive leadership clients and candidates

Experience

  • 6+ years technical recruiting experience within a retained search firm and/or an in-house executive recruiting team; experience working in a fast-paced tech company is a plus
  • Experience building diverse, global leadership teams
  • Possess an extensive knowledge of the tech and/or fintech industries
  • Adept at building and managing successful client/stakeholder relationships and have the ability to understand their business and individual needs (quickly!)
  • Must have experience managing high-profile clients and candidates from outreach to close (must understand equity components)
  • Rigorously holding oneself and others accountable for achieving high levels of individual and organizational performance
  • Highly articulate and able to consult in a clear and compelling manner
  • Analytical rigor; able to be data-driven in your approach to recruiting and identifying root causes of any issues
