The PPC Revolving Products team is responsible for the open-end credit products within the PayPal Credit suite of credit products. These products are available in two countries (US & UK) and continue to grow to other strategic markets that PayPal has a presence in. The Senior Product Manager (PM) will be responsible for managing, designing, and building world-class credit products and experiences. The PM will be responsible for managing the entire life cycle of products from product design, solution design, to build, and implementation. Additionally responsible for the performance of product and the KPI’s related to his/her product. The PM will be tasked to identify opportunities to improve the product and manage KPI’s. The PM will be working closely with multi-functional areas across PayPal and different regions, including business and marketing partners, legal, compliance, and risk. The PM will be managing backlogs and determining roadmap prioritization, writing stories, and other typical agile processes.

The ideal candidate is an end-to-end product manager with a successful track record of:

  • Collaborating across a diverse group of stakeholders (e.g. credit business partners, legal, ops, risk/compliance, UX designers, user research, internal product managers, etc.)
  • Defining product requirements and leading the successful execution of initiatives
  • Engaging closely with engineering and architecture to help determine the best technical implementation/design while balancing time-to-market needs.
  • Partnering with cross-functional teams and external partners to design, build, launch, and market new payment capabilities
  • Using A/B Testing, analytics, market research, usability studies, and competitive analysis to drive decision making
  • Defining and proactively monitoring key performance metrics to support and inform product decisions. 
  • Engaging in problem solving with analytics to determine trends and root causes.
  • Partnering with Legal, Privacy, and Compliance teams to ensure the products we deliver are within regulatory boundaries.
  • Defining a product launch plan for your area, including identifying new opportunities as well as maintaining a rolling marketing roadmap of projects or iterations.

Minimum Required Skills/Qualifications:

  • Minimum of a BS/BA is required, MBA or MS preferred
  • 4 – 6 years of professional experience
  • Experienced product manager with a minimum of 3-5 years of product experience
  • Ability to work with a wide range of functions ranging from business experts to developers
  • History of leading and executing in fast-paced, high-growth, uncertain environments
  • Comfortable using data and analytics to inform product decisions
  • Ability to lead cross-functional groups and drive action
  • Strong communication skills
  • Strong understanding of business KPI’s and the ability to drive them
  • Experience in an agile development environment
