We are seeking an exceptional product manager who thrives on changing the status quo and is laser-focused on making every experience seamless, simple, safe, and intuitive for our users. This product manager will lead a dedicated and passionate group of developers and designers to evolve PayPal's customer identity verification experiences globally.

In this role you will look end to end at customer identity verification. You will build newer, better ways to provide access to features our customers want through frictionless verification experiences. You will lead from concept to launch to iteration on products on web as well as mobile app platforms. You will seek out and prioritize the biggest opportunities and deliver them on a global scale. Not only will you lead a scrum team, you will also be actively engaged cross-functionally with multiple parties such as Design, Engineering, Global Operations, PMO, Risk, Compliance, Analytics, and Information Security to ensure that the best experiences are being built. You will need to collaborate and inspire teams so that they can share the same passion for enabling our customers to use our services. With this collaboration, you will be known as a critical stakeholder for the product to ensure all metrics and milestones are achieved.

Success in this role requires:

  • Ability to effectively communicate and maintain relationships with a diverse group of internal and external partners 
  • Collaborate and communicate across all levels of the organization with your product vision and customer passion
  • Develop and manage the product roadmaps to ensure consistent execution of the product lifecycle from concept to launch
  • Ability to transform customer/consumer data and best practices to drive conversations and decisions
  • Drive improvement and conversion based on customer experience and feedback to ensure the highest quality experience

Qualifications:

  • Passion and empathy for the customer to understand the needs and experiences in our platforms
  • Ability to drive work to completion through a strong sense of execution, work ethic, and attention to detail
  • Demonstrated success in creating innovative products with user experience in mind
  • Understanding of technology and platforms with a passion for building scalable solutions
  • 5+ years of Product Management experience with a BA/BS (a technical degree is not required, but being comfortable in critical technology discussions is a must)
