PayPal is seeking a Product Manager to join the PayPal’s Regulatory Reporting team. This position will provide data & BI insights to support PayPal Business and Regulatory functions. The successful candidate will be comfortable with driving vision, strategy, prioritization, and execution for our Regulatory Compliance Data with business partners and regulatory compliance officers. They will be required to work autonomously and professionally to meet tight deadlines while striving to deliver an excellent level of customer service. This role would be ideal for an individual who is proactive, able to manage their time and workload effectively and has a great level of attention to detail, with a passion for using data to drive decision making in a corporate environment. As a Product Manager, the expectations of the role include: • Customer and market focus. Engage with PayPal customers, partners and colleagues to understand regulatory business needs and priorities from both a segment and market perspective. • Independent thinker. Understand the needs of our customers, regulators, auditors and develop a practical path to achieving the reporting goals. • Strong collaborator. Be proactive and engage colleagues across organizational boundaries to clarify the vision and articulate a practical path to make it real. • Technical competence. Be able to partner with engineering to understand the technical implications of what you are building, propose alternatives, challenge the scalability and reusability. • Team leadership. Oversee all aspects of the agile team’s deliverables by working iteratively with cross-functional teams across the PayPal product/business organizations, engineering, quality assurance, integration and project management.

  • Be the bridge between the different Analytics and Data areas (Product, Business and Policy, ML, Data Platform)
  • Create product roadmap, evangelize roadmap to partners, monitor roadmap implementation progress, and deliver roadmap
  • Build trust and effective relationships with peers and provides leadership across the division, product, and/or partner ecosystem. Contribute and encourage a positive working environment despite constant change.
