PayPal’s Branded Experiences P2P Risk team is hiring a product manager who is passionate about building innovative products, programs and policies to improve user experience and grow the P2P product, while systematically mitigating financial risk. We are seeking the best-of-the-best product leaders who demonstrate excellent execution, strategic leadership, deep customer empathy and showcase relentless pursuit of excellence. If you have the drive, tenacity and grit to execute, measure, and move fast, then you’ll thrive in this role where you will work with a group of extremely passionate and talented engineers, data scientists, risk strategists, designers, analysts, and other product managers, to define risk management features that will be used to drive the best experience for PayPal customers all over the world.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Lead a range of Risk initiatives for send and receive money experiences across the P2P domain and drive them to successful outcomes; define, implement, and evaluate metrics and goals to ensure successful outcomes for our customers and our business
  • With input from our Risk Strategy teams and customers, you will formulate product strategy and create product roadmaps that will ensure our customers are safe and PayPal succeeds in stopping fraud
  • Define a product launch plan for your area, including identifying new opportunities as well as maintaining a rolling roadmap of projects or iterations.
  • Effectively collaborate and communicate product road map, project status, and issues to executive management and other stakeholders, as necessary.
  • Engage closely with engineering in Agile methodology to help determine the best technical implementation/design while balancing priorities and time-to-market needs.
  • Prioritize ruthlessly and focus on doing fewer things better and faster

What you bring:

  • At least 4 years of experience building and shipping customer-facing products; experience in payments, eCommerce, FinTech preferred; prior focus on risk management a plus
  • Good understanding of business needs, end-to-end customer experiences when building key Risk capabilities
  • Ability to work independently, at times with minimal guidance, to create actionable insights
  • Ability to work with multiple set of engineering teams in an agile environment
  • Ability to work with highly cross functional, global, diverse stakeholders
  • Expert communication skills that enable you to persuade and inspire, break down complex concepts, and keep teams aligned 
  • The ability to think out of the box when it comes to generating ideas, but an understanding that execution is what ultimately matters
