As we launch new product and experiences, we want you to be a strategic driver of expanding and connecting them so they’re even more relevant and impactful for our users. In this role, you will work with other product managers and marketing stakeholders as well as engineering and design to build out and execute a product roadmap around our growth opportunities. You will be responsible for understanding all of our existing products end to end, and designing flywheel moments for consumers to help connect our products in new ways. You will investigate data around our existing products and review where the largest opportunities may be to grow and expand our target audiences, manage request intake and feature scoping, and participate in agile ceremonies to drive the execution and launch of new features. You will be the point person for your domain, balancing customer needs, business requirements, legal/compliance, growth and monetization considerations.

Your Responsibilities: 

  • Define strategies, develop product roadmap, and lead successful execution of initiatives to produce outstanding growth of consumer engagement
  • Create user stories and provide other required input and direction to the Scrum team; own the backlog and keep the team fully engaged building the highest priority features and enhancements
  • Use A/B Testing, analytics, market research, usability studies, and competitive analysis to drive roadmap decisions and prioritization
  • Evaluate competitive landscape and stay informed of latest trends in Fintech and consumer Apps in general
  • Partner with cross-functional teams at PayPal to design, build, and launch experiences that can increase adoption of our App and key products in our portfolio
  • Engage closely with engineering and architecture to help determine the best technical implementation/design while balancing time-to-market needs
  • Define growth targets and proactively monitor performance versus projections
  • Communicate product plans, benefits and results to all audiences - including PayPal Senior Leadership team
  • Partner with Legal, Privacy, and Compliance teams to ensure the products we deliver are within regulatory boundaries

Qualifications: 

  • Minimum 5 years as a Product Manager at technology company, ideally in a Growth focused role
  • Keen understanding of growth loops and the value of a flywheel engine 
  • Experience building a product roadmap and working with cross-functional stakeholders to deliver exceptional business impact 
  • History of leading and executing in fast-paced, high-growth, uncertain environments 
  • Outstanding analytical skills, specifically in using funnel tracking and BI tools to drill down on insights and create solutions on data-driven hypotheses  
  • Analyze, quantify, and articulate trade-offs of product roadmap features 
  • Strong verbal communication and presentation skills to senior leaders and project partners   
  • Deep attention to detail; passion to create delightful customer experiences
  • Familiarity with FinTech products and concepts 
  • Minimum of a BS/BA is required, MBA or MS preferred
