The Payment Experiences product team at PayPal is seeking an exceptional and passionate Sr Product Manager 2 whose charter shall include being responsible for Issuer Partnerships and delivering unique and differentiated digital payments and wallet experiences. Over the past few years, this team has built exciting, unique products in partnership with our Bank Partners and are chartered to continue to expand our global partnerships and continue to innovate in partnership with our Issuers. The Sr. Product Manager shall be responsible for leading charge in creating unique partnership experiences for PayPal’s fast-growing user base and challenge the status quo to build innovative global products.

To be successful in this role, you will:

  • The Sr. Product Manager shall be responsible for the global strategy for bank partnerships and payment experiences.
  • Partner with issuer partners to develop new differentiated PayPal experiences.
  • Perform user research, usability studies, market research and focus on building seamless, simple, and intuitive user experiences.
  • Define and document product requirements, user stories and epics. 
  • Review product performance and provide a continuous improvement path though leveraging industry standard tools and capabilities as well as building new ones. 
  • Walkthrough product vision and specification with engineering and architecture – review the technical solution.
  • Work closely with engineering, architecture and design teams throughout the software development lifecycle – be able to resolve open issues, answer product questions and guide the engineering and development teams to building the right products.
  • Work with quality engineering team to develop test plans and strategies to ensure product quality 
  • Collaborate with global cross-functional team to develop, market, and launch product globally

Required Skills:

  • Product management experience, payment industry familiarity preferred
  • Partnership management experience preferred
  • Consumer focus and experience designing simple and intuitive user experiences
  • Proven track record of delivering world class products
  • Strong analytical ability and attention to details
  • Strong ability to juggle between strategy, execution and operational activities
  • Strong ability to ideate and innovate

Required Education:

  • BSc. or Bachelor Engineering/Computer Science or equivalent required
  • Advanced technical degree, MBA or equivalent a strong plus
