The Enterprise Data Platform is a newly formed team in the TPX organization. Its vision is to “Provide Enterprise Product Data at lower cost and better quality”. To achieve this vision, we are looking for people with a passion and curiosity to solve customer problems with data. The internal stakeholders for the Program include but are not limited to PayPal Inc.’s Product Teams, Accounting and Finance, Sales, Risk, Customer Service, Treasury and Strategy Teams. Our External stakeholders include Regulators, Customers, Third Party Service Providers and Banks.

The Position is for a Technical Product Manager on our PayPal Inc. Enterprise Data Lake team. You will lead the function for China localization project. Your customers are middle office operations team across PayPal and our goal is to deliver data and services that make their experience seamless and the process involved lightning fast. The Product Manager will be responsible for planning and execution of strategic priorities in an organized, disciplined and predictable fashion. This leader will be a critical partner to define and manage priorities, drive planning and accountability, and constantly manage expectations and ensure forward progress.

Primary Job Responsibilities:

  • Work with extremely talented peers in a fun environment building performance efficient, highly scalable, configurable solutions spanning multiple technologies and platforms
  • Manage multiple complex data programs to deliver technical solutions For PayPal Inc.
  • Develop effective, matrixed, cross-organization relationships, collaborating and communicating across business and technology stakeholders and multiple geographies.
  • Influence both peers and leaders, to build consensus while dealing with ambiguity, and make or delegate decisions when necessary
  • Implement complex projects dealing with the considerable data size.

   Requirements:

  • 8 to 10 years relevant experience in technology Product Management delivering technology initiatives in a high growth/high velocity environment at a leading consumer technology company or management consulting firm.
  • Demonstrated aptitude for risk identification and mitigation
  • Excellent communication (written/verbal) skills, including logically structuring and delivering presentations.
  • Impeccable collaboration and problem-solving skills
  • Comfortable working in an agile environment and with cross-functional teams, should have appetite to learn and be flexible to pick up new technology.
  • Customer focused individual with proven experience in delivering complex analysis within short time frames, managing multiple stakeholders.
  • Organized, deliberate, and reliable in structuring work, and effective as a problem solver.
  • Excellent written and verbal skills.
  • Bachelors/Masters Degree in relevant field preferred.
  • Payments Data knowledge a plus.
