The EMEA Bank Payments Product team is seeking a Sr. Product Manager who is able to challenge the status quo and ask the right questions to build innovative products our customers love. If this sounds like you, we would love to chat!

You will join a growing team that is s responsible for the maintenance of the EMEA bank platform as well as implementation of strategic initiatives. You must possess a unique blend of business and technical savvy, a keen eye for detail, the courage to dive into key strategic initiatives and the drive to make the product a reality. The role will enable the Sr. Product Manager to work with cross-functional teams, spanning the whole PayPalorganization. As part of the team you will will also contribute and help to drive the culture within the team, and support and coach team members as needed. 


  • Work with internal and external stakeholders to deliver strategic initiative
  • Build out strong presentations and deliver to senior leadership 
  • Drive product design from ideation all the way to market readiness
  • Be the voice of our customers and solve their core payment friction and provide a delightful experience
  • Work with engineering throughout product lifecycle 
  • Industry & product knowledge to be the expert in your field 
  • Work with a team that is globally distributed

Required Skills:

  • Solid experience in Product management / Business consulting 
  • Bank Payment industry experience required (specific experience in Open banking, PSD2 is required)
  • Relevant product knowledge of SEPA, SEPA Instant & other payment systems (BACS, FPS, etc.) is a plus
  • Fluency in English is a must, German is a plus
  • Experience with E2E Bank Payments processing & relevant systems/ domains
  • Strong analytical ability and attention to detail
  • Consumer focus and experience designing simple and intuitive user experiences
  • Strong ability to ideate and innovate 
  • Self-driven, ability to thrive in fast-paced, high-growth, uncertain situations
  • Strong communications and negotiation skills
  • Ability to influence cross-functional groups and drive results
  • Must be a team player and willing to work in a global setting
