Sales Transformation - Sales M&A Integration Strategy We are looking for a Manager Sales M&A Integration Strategy to join the PayPal Sales Transformation team. You will join a fast-paced, collaborative group and help to build our integration capabilities. Our goal is to deliver a world-class integration experience for our acquired businesses as we integrate them into our Global Sales Organization and bring their product solutions to our customers. The Manager Sales M&A Integration will bring strong business acumen, analytical, financial modelling, strategic planning and communication skills along with proven effectiveness engaging and coordinating an extended, cross-functional integration team. This role reports to the Senior Director, Sales Transformation.

You drive Sales M&A Integration Strategy and Planning: 

  • Develop Sales M&A integration strategy, planning, process and an operating framework for the Sales M&A integration function
  • Build robust financial models and identify KPIs/success metrics for individual deals and the Sales M&A Integration function
  • Create templates, processes and reports that can be used repeatedly in the Sales M&A integration process
  • Communicate strategy and progress to stakeholders across PayPal

You drive Sales M&A Integration Planning:

  • Participate in early due diligence with the Corporate Development team to understand and identify the strategic objectives relating to bringing acquired products to market and integrating the Sales and Servicing teams into PayPal’s Sales organization, assess the target company, and provide early inputs on sales planning (including building and validating financial models), risks, and mitigation. 
  • Drive Sales M&A integration program planning identifying and aligning strategy, creating integration plans and driving execution.  Account for the unique business objectives, challenges, and complexities of each acquired business. 
  • Develop robust integration strategies and build repeatable processes for Sales and Servicing integration
  • Conduct ad-hoc qualitative and quantitative analyses for strategic planning and Sales and Servicing integration efforts 
  • Develop integration metrics that demonstrate and align to a clear path to a successful Sales and Servicing integration

  • Develop and maintain a trusted advisor role with both the Acquired Business and PayPal leadership

  • Develop comprehensive integration project plans which include all workstream and functional team tasks to achieve the success metrics.  You deliver as One Team.

You constantly look to improve M&A Integration Processes and Tools: 

  • Exceptional program management skills.  
  • Experienced in estimation, planning, framework and process design, and implementation across a complex business. 
  • Drive standardization and continuous improvements in our Sales M&A Integration methodology, playbooks, templates and tools. 

Experience:  

  • 5+ yrs leading strategy and execution for complex, transformational programs including in M&A Integration or Sales or 5+ years corporate development experience
  • Bachelors degree in Business or equivalent. 
  • Proficient in MS Excel, PowerPoint, SFDC
  • Understanding of and experience with standard business practices related to sales operations processes and systems (sales cycle, salesforce.com, reporting, forecasting, territory management, sales quotas and sales compensation)
  • Cross-border or in-country strategy, M&A, corporate development or comparable program experience 
  • Ability to travel 25% (potentially increased during peak deal activity)
