We are looking for a highly motivated and strategically minded Senior Financial Analyst to scale with the Global Consumer Product Finance team to support the rapidly growing Xoom business. This role partners with the product, finance and marketing leaders of Xoom to manage budgets, develop forecasts, and uncover new opportunities to accelerate and optimize the business. The role will be a key focal point in facilitating financial decision-making, building data-driven insights in long term forecasting, and developing Xoom’s business reporting at the global scale. An ideal candidate will demonstrate advanced financial modeling skills, offer a strategic perspective and possess strong business acumen.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop strategic business plans, annual financial budgets and monthly forecasts
  • Partner with regional and corporate finance teams to drive clear alignment for product–level financial plans and analysis
  • Collaborate with department leads to manage monthly spending, allocate resources effectively, and track resource effectiveness using metrics like Customer Lifetime Value
  • Collaborate with senior business partners to define and analyze critical business and financial goals to drive accountability and influence decision making
  • Support pricing analysis by channel and recommend changes to support long term growth
  • Lead quantitative and qualitative financial analysis on new business initiatives to understand and prioritize opportunities
  • Work as a business partner with regional and cross-functional teams including Accounting, Tax, Risk, Controllership and Accounts Payable to deliver valuable insights and recommendations

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of related experience in FP&A, corporate finance, consulting or related areas
  • Bachelor’s Degree in finance related field
  • Ability to synthesize complex analysis and ideas to communicate them in a straightforward manner (both verbally and via e-mail / PowerPoint)
  • Experience building and maintaining complex financial models, developing and using financial modeling tools, and financial statement construction
  • Highly accountable, with ability to independently lead and coordinate projects across multiple subject and functional areas
  • Experience using database and programming languages such as SQL and Python to manipulate and analyze data
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint
  • Experience in SAP, Essbase and/or equivalent financial systems preferred
  • Experience in a high growth and/or payment industry preferred
